Friends, I hope I’m providing you value here.
That is certainly my every intention.
Am I?
Your feedback would mean a lot to me, so I know I’m accomplishing my goal.
Even more, your financial support through a Supporting Subscription would mean so much to me and my well-being.
This is a labor of love, for sure. But “love” alone doesn’t pay the bills. And with my husband out of work for more than a year, I’m needing all the help I can get to make sure my work can actually support us.
Right now, there aren’t nearly enough Supporting Subscriptions to make that true. And I’m wondering if you can help change that.
I care deeply about equity, and I care about a philanthropy — and organized community care like nonprofits — that is more grounded in our shared humanity, in our love and care for each other.
For these reasons, I want what I offer here to be free for all.
But yet, creating this publication and community takes time and energy and skill. The recently launched podcast is taking even more of those things.
And I’m not yet being sufficiently compensated for any of that.
Can you help support this effort of For the Love of Humanity?
I see this place as a community.
And in community, we give freely to support each other.
I’m doing my part.
Are you able to afford some financial support in return?
FYI, because I’m so grateful to those of you who do this, I offer some additional value to you in return:
Supportive short-form Loveletters on Mondays and Wednesdays, to offer you more love, care, inspiration, and grounding throughout your weeks
Deeper/additional podcast content, when possible
Monthly gatherings via Zoom to build community face-to-face, voice-to-voice
Does this appeal to you? I hope so!
Your presence here is the most valuable thing to me.
Your feedback to me is also very valuable.
Your financial support is not only valuable to me, but it’s a necessary part of making this whole project actually possible and sustainable.
With gratitude for all you give,
Cecelia 💗
PS: If a Supporting Subscription is too much of a financial stretch for you right now, might you be able to support this work on a one-time basis, at an amount that works for your budget? You can do that at this link.
